Welcome to the Summer Solstice

I wanted to share this lovely photo from Diary of a Goldfish
As the summer season officially begins, and we are the closest to the Sun we will be all year, I could not think of a better way to reflect and show appreciation and joy for life, love and my son passing Living Environment (9th grade science). Enjoy the time on the porch, back stoop, 3rd story walk up window or fire escape.

This was a personal photograph taken by a friend in my presence; I had permission to post it but the copyright doesn't even belong to me. You don't need to take it down, but I would very much appreciate an acknowledgement as to where it came from.

Most of the time nobody will notice bits and pieces borrowed without permission and it doesn't matter to anyone. You were incredibly unlucky that (a) I happened to stumble across this (was a remarkable coincidence in fact) and (b) it happened to be a photograph which mattered to me.

I am sure you didn't mean to do anything wrong and you obviously have excellent aesthetic taste! However, do take care with this stuff; there is a legal principle involved as well as what is general good manners.

You are my first comment! Hurrah!
I do apologize; it was such a lovely picture that I got a bit ahead of myself. In the future, I will make sure to seek permission first.

Thank you!

P.S. Are you going to publish the results of your poll?
